The University wanted to diversify our student body, and we saw an opportunity to expand our work in Latin America, EdCo LATAM were recommended by UK universities we spoke to who were having success in the region. What does EdCo LATAM Consulting do?
EdCo LATAM Consulting provides in-country representation and consultancy services for education institutions and government organisations looking to expand their presence in Latin America. We help our partners meet student recruitment and engagement goals and navigate the complexities of the region.
Are EdCo LATAM Consulting an educational agency?
No, we are not an educational agency. EdCo LATAM Consulting is a specialist education consultancy providing in-country representation and strategic support for universities and colleges.
Unlike agencies, we do not work on commission but charge a fixed fee, ensuring our focus is on your long-term recruitment and engagement goals.
Each partner is assigned a dedicated Account Manager, ensuring seamless integration with your team and targeted support in Latin America.
How does in-country representation work?
We act as your dedicated, on-the-ground team in Latin America, offering representation at events, building and managing relationships with schools and agents, handling inquiries, and supporting recruitment efforts—just as if you had your own office in the region.
We assign one of our highly qualified team members to work closely with your international office to provide specialist resource in Latin America, and to achieve student recruitment and engagement goals through regularly tracked KPIs.
What consultancy services do you offer?
We undertake bespoke projects with our partners through our consultancy division. Previous and current projects include: Transnational Eduction development, creating agent networks, building partnerships with Latin American universities to develop dual degrees, and market entry / branding.
Why should we work with EdCo LATAM Consulting instead of hiring our own staff?
Hiring and managing staff in a new region can be complex and costly. Our model provides experienced, regionally based experts who offer flexible, cost-effective, and results-driven support without the long-term commitment of hiring full-time employees.
What are our fees?

Which countries in Latin America do you cover?
We operate across the entire LATAM region. Our partners will often focus on key markets within LATAM and we work with each partner to identify the best opportunities for them.
How do you measure the success of your work?
We set clear KPIs with our partners, including student inquiries, applications, event attendance, and partnership development.
We provide regular reports and insights to ensure transparency and continuous improvement. Our aim is to meet student recruitment and engagement goals and exceed on expectations.
Do our Account Managers work with various institutions?
No. Our Account Managers work exclusively with one partner when working on either the ‘Advanced’ or ‘Growth’ Representation service.
Account Managers may work with more than one partner when undertaking the ‘Launch’ Representation service or an EdCo Consult project but the these will be non-conflicting partners.
