Simon is an International Education Marketing specialist with over 22 years experience of successfully working for universities and private education companies within a range of different international marketing roles in the UK. He lived in Colombia for over 12 years where he co-founded, managed and then sold an education agency (MAS Education). He then worked as Recruitment Director, Latin America for INTO University Partnerships for over 5 years. After seeing the need for dedicated local support Simon then launched EdCo LATAM Consulting with Jamie to support international institutions with their recruitment efforts across Latin America.
Simon thrives in dynamic and challenging environments and has successfully opened and developed new markets globally and managed overseas recruitment offices in Asia and South America.
He is passionate about Latin America and very much enjoys supporting educational institutions achieve their objectives across the region.
Jamie has over 10 years experience of working in management and marketing.
After studying Spanish and Portuguese at the University of Nottingham, Jamie began his career working in international business before deciding to move to Latin America 8 years ago.
With a passion for international education and a desire to work supporting international students, Jamie took on the role as Director of MAS Education, an educational agency focusing on the promotion of UK Universities. MAS Education grew and at the time of leaving the business had over 40 agreements with UK Universities, 6 staff and supported over 100 Latin American students a year.
Teaming up with Simon and recognising the need for dedicated local expertise, Jamie launched EdCo LATAM Consulting in 2019.
From his experience working in the region Jamie has a wealth of knowledge and has created a strong network of contacts spanning across Latin America.
We develop a close relationship with our partners to ensure we implement the best strategies for each, deliver student recruitment targets, and hire the best in-country representatives.
